Terrence Carrier 1873 - 1874

Terrence Carrier was born in Cambridge, VT on Dec 5, 1827 a son of Patrick and Bridget (O’Neil) Carrier. He became a resident of Grant County in 1855 at which time he engaged in farming in the Muscoda area. In 1858 he moved to Boscobel and engaged in the trade of wagon maker. Mr. Carrier, a Republican, formerly a Whig, has held various local and county offices, has served on the county board, acted as president of the village, and has been generally regarded as a man of more than usual ability and character.
